So far I've found six different 9mm revolvers. Two are currently in production, while the remaining four revolvers have been discontinued for many years.

The Ruger Blackhawk Convertible and the Taurus 905 are the only two I found that are new and readily available. I have read rumors of a Charter Arms 9mm revolver but haven't seen any concrete proof.

The four older revolvers have caught my eye, especially the Ruger SP101. These older revolvers are rare since they were mostly shipped to Europe where the 9mm Luger is more popular, especially in law enforcement.

With the exception of the S&W 547, they all use moon clips.

I believe that the S&W revolver made for he French police that does not use moon clips is actually the Model 547. It was made in the pictured four-inch version and a round-but three-inch version.

You are correct, thanks for pointing this out to me. I have corrected the original post.
